Our lei range from around 36" to 41" long and are meant to hang comfortably over the neck and shoulders. They are one size fits all.

All of our lei are shipped with frozen gelpacks inside the bottom of the box to keep them cool during transit. When you receive your box, pat the lei down with a paper towel and transfer to a plastic bag and keep them in the refrigerator until ready to use. If you are refrigerating them in their shipping box, please remove the gelpacks from the bottom as they will melt eventually and the excess moisture will damage the flowers. Never place lei in the freezer as it is too cold for the flowers and they will blacken. These care instructions will be on every box and you can always contact our customer service team if you have any questions!

Are these real flowers?

Absolutely! We specialize in the finest fresh flower lei and are the exclusive source for several signature styles including our exquisite tinted orchid lei. We also carry real kukui nut lei in a variety of colors and designs!

When should I receive my order?

As a general guideline, you should choose to receive your order the day before your event. Please make sure you let us know what day you would like to receive your order in the message box at checkout--we will do our absolute best to make sure your lei gets to you on the day you choose! What shipping method should I choose?

Overnight shipping costs a little more but is the best way to ensure your lei get to you without any damage. We utilize both UPS and FedEx depending on your zipcode. If you are interested in purchasing overnight shipping, simply choose Overnight Shipping as your shipping method during checkout and we will choose the best shipper to get your lei out to you. Overnight Shipping starts at $35 and increases with the number of leis in your order. Although we advise all of our customers to choose Overnight shipping, we do offer 2-Day Shipping as a more affordable option. Most of our orchid leis (excluding styles that are predominantly white) travel just fine with 2-Day Shipping. 2Day shipping is the default shipping method and starts at $26.

Lei with fragrance including tuberose and ginger are white in color and also more delicate than regular orchid lei. Although beautiful in both appearance and smell, they tend to brown quicker and show bruising more than other styles. For this reason we only ship our scented lei via Overnight Service which starts at $35.00 for the first lei. This will be the Standard Shipping option for any of our listings for scented leis.

How do I track my shipment?

We have integrated with the ShipStation platform to send automated emails with your tracking information when your order ships! From there you will be able to track when your shipment is picked up, in transit and delivered!

What should I know about the lei giving tradition?

Lei are a cherished Hawaiian tradition that is one of the joys of living in the islands! Lei symbolize love, appreciation and respect. We give lei for all sorts of happy occasions--birthdays, weddings, engagements, proposals, graduation, promotion, retirement, going away parties--basically any occasion with a cause to celebrate the recipient! Generally, women will receive any type of flower lei and men will receive more masculine styles with greenery and leaves such as kukui nut, ti leaf, cigar or maile or simpler flower lei such as the single orchid lei. Pregnant women should not be given a closed lei--superstition says that is bad luck for the unborn child. Open-ended styles and Haku Lei (floral crowns for the head) are acceptable.
