Wedding flowers. We think about the perfect look, we take all the photos, and then after the ceremony what happens? We throw them away? We attempt to preserve them in kitty litter? We send them off to be freeze dried only to spend the rest of our marriage dusting them off on a weekly basis?
Why not consider hanging them on your wall as a piece of botanical art?
► BUYING BEFORE YOUR WEDDING:
By purchasing this listing BEFORE your wedding day, I can prepare for your bridal bouquet to arrive and get to work pressing it as soon as I receive it. You have the option of supplying me with sentimental text, your wedding invitation, or even your wedding photo, and I will use the actual flowers from your wedding day to decorate the page. When you purchase the listing I will supply you with instructions for shipment of the flowers. I usually recommend you assign a bridesmaid or other trusted friend to be in charge of flower shipment the day after your ceremony. Be sure to purchase the "before wedding" designation when you select your size.
I only take a few bouquets a month so it is best to purchase your preservation early to save your spot. Please keep in mind that once I accept your bouquet, I am turning away other brides so if you cancel you will be refunded less a 10% restocking fee.
►BUYING AFTER YOUR WEDDING
I can sometimes accommodate your flowers if you reach out AFTER the ceremony depending on current work loads, but only if it has been one or two days since your flowers need to be in the freshest condition to look their best pressed. Please reach out to see if I am able to accept your bouquet on short notice. Due to the time sensitive nature of flower pressing there is a $100 rush charge for preservations purchased the day of, or after the ceremony. When purchasing after your wedding, please be sure to purchase the size frame you want with the "after wedding" designation as this incorporates the rush fee into the price. Flowers sent to me without a necessary rush charge WILL NOT BE PROCESSED and will be sent back return to sender. You will be refunded less 10% (restocking fee).
When you purchase this listing, I will contact you via etsy to work out the exact details of your order and give you the address to ship your bouquet to. This listing does not cover the postage of your bouquet, but I will send you detailed instructions for you to get it to me in the best condition.
Alternatively, this makes a great wedding anniversary present. I can source the flowers used in your wedding (for an additional fee) or use symbolic wildflowers to make a meaningful gift. I can also provide a gift certificate for you to give as a engagement or shower gift and I will then work with the bride directly to design her preservation.
Please contact me if you have any questions before purchasing. I look forward to working with your ideas!
Like all my work, the flowers will be framed with UV protection acrylic to resist color fade and deterioration, but care should be given to keep the piece out of direct sun. Frames are metal shadowboxes and are available in three colors to best match your home decor: Gold, Silver, and Black (please see last listing photo) and come ready to hang when you receive them.
Interested in gifts for your wedding party? I can use the leftover blooms from your bouquet to create mini keepsakes for your friends and family. See the add on listing here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/676965940/mini-wedding-flower-preservation
