This beautifully made vintage late 80s jacket is completely lined in the same fabric. It has 2 pockets in front and the sides are decorated with silver buckles and hang longer than the front or the carwash slit back. The sleeves are very light and gauzy in a crisp striped fabric and are completely lined in sheer black fabric. Don't you love the golden star buttons?
This designer piece's tag reads "DESSINE MUI UNE FEMME Marithe Francois Girbaud". There is an inside tag marked "Made in Italy" and one that reads size "44" though I would trust measurements more than tags on vintage!
I would say it is a small to medium depending on your measurements. Though the shoulders are wide, they are not padded but they really give this an hourglass shape.
