Highlights
Washington D.C. trinket dish
Found at the estate of the original owner. Most likely dated 1960s.
Made of glass measuring 4 inches x 4 inches. As the way things were sometimes made back in the day, an image would be placed on the underneath of the glass and a felt bottom placed n top of the image. The image here is of the United States Capitol building. The image reads, "U.S. Capitol Washington D.C."
In good overall condition with no chips or cracks, The felt bottom shows some signs of age and use. The image is clear and easily seen up close. I can see some glue residue holding on the felt bottom.
Has a raised glass design on the inside bottom.
