We know that shipping can get expensive (we are shoppers, too!) We want to ship our products the cheapest way possible, to save YOU costs. Unfortunately, candles can get quite heavy, and shipping is charged by weight. But we always select the cheapest and most reliable option available from our range of shipping providers, and when the postage is over what you have paid, we cover that cost ourselves. If you would like shipping upgrades or need your candle fast, please contact us for express post options.

Frosting (a sort of snowflake effect in the wax) occurs in many soy candles. This can be a result of the candle size or what fragrances have been used, but it is also perfectly normal in soy wax - it is actually an indication that the wax is natural soy, with no additives. We carefully hand pour in small batches to exact temperatures to minimise frosting, but it you do see some in your candle, it is cosmetic only - burn time or safety is not affected.

Burn your candle responsibly: keep the wick trimmed to avoid huge flames and heat build up; burn to the edges of the container each time you light your candle to prevent tunnelling; and don't burn longer longer than a few hours, to prevent the glass from getting too hot. Avoid water/moisture in your melt pool. Discard candle when wax gets to 1-2cm from bottom of the jar. This ensures safe burning and also that you will get the longest burn time out of your candle. Natural soy wax has a low melt point. If, in Summer, you leave your candle in a hot place or in direct sunlight, it will melt. This also applies to when your candles are delivered. Please be mindful if they will be left for a long period on a hot porch etc once delivered.

Orders are sent via Aus Post or Couriers Please. When your order is booked in for delivery, you are sent an email with all the delivery and booking info, including tracking numbers. From here you can track your parcel, arrange for redirection, or advise to leave in a specific safe place, if you will not be home to receive your parcel in person. If you do not do this, the Couriers (who are very reliable) have authority to leave the parcel, and will usually leave at the front door. If you are not home and they cannot access the property, they will deliver to the nearest parcelpoint location, and you will get an email with these details.

Lost or damaged parcels

Forage and Folk cannot be held responsible for parcels damaged or lost in transit. We do everything we can to pack and prepare your candles so you get them at 100% - we want you to receive a great product. Once the candles pass from us to the courier, we have no control over what happens. It is very, very rare that there is a problem. Please consult the tracking information sent to you if you are concerned you have not received your candles, and check for delivery cards in your mail box/stuck to your front door.

Christmas and busy periods

Please always advise at the time of ordering if you need your candles by a certain date, so we can mark your order as a priority. Allow a little extra time at Christmas, as this is a remarkably busy period, and shipping providers can often be a little slower than usual. Christmas cut-off dates for ordering will be posted in the Announcement section of the shop.

We love what we do, and we are extraordinarily proud of our candles and want you to receive a fantastic product that you love, too. If there are any concerns or problems with your order that are not covered here, please message us so we can work out the best way to help you. If you love what you have received, we enjoy seeing your feedback in the shop review section.

Welcome to Forage & Folk!

Musk Stick Lollies is part of the Sweetheart soy candle range.

Bottom notes of musk and creamy vanilla, mid notes of geranium, mint leaf and grated cinnamon, topped with a little sparkle of citrusy blackberries. Smells just like a musk stick lolly.
Nana's lolly jar and mixed lollies; visits to old-fashioned candy stores, and birthday parties all in one. A sugary, citrusy concoction without being overbearing, smells just like you remember.

Our Sweetheart range are a sugar hit of the sweetest smells, a mixed bag of all those classic scents from childhood. They come in fun metro jars with knobbed lids - just like a real lolly jar!

SIZES:
Medium Lolly Jar (120g wax) $12.00. Burn time approx 22-25 hours. Clear glass.

Large Lolly Jar (260g) $27.00. Burn time 50+ hours. Frosted glass and decorative tassel.

Keep wicks trimmed to ensure maximum burn time.

Our candles will burn clean, have been tested for maximum fragrance throw and are sourced and made from only the best quality materials.

ABOUT FORAGE & FOLK CANDLES:

Smell has always been my favourite of the five senses - I like how it can instantly evoke a memory, time, or place; I love how significant moments, periods or people in my life are always associated with a smell. This was my inspiration behind creating a range of candles that are reminiscent of all my favourite scents in the world. I hope they strike a chord, or a memory, or a feeling with you too.

Love the item but for me, I feel that the musk scent needs more oomph (but that's just my personal preference). It is still a really lovely candle that brings back so many memories of childhood
