Martingale Collar Info

A martingale, is a 'choke' collar and should not be left on your pup 24/7. It should also never be used as a restraint device or used as a tie out. Please use a martingale only for walking/ training and remove once back in the house. A thin dedicated 'house' collar is recommended for the ID tag.

Use and Care Instructions

Quilt cotton fabric collars will not hold up well to scratching, chewing, biting or particularly heavy rough play. A collar may wear faster or slower depending on the activity of the pup, purpose & frequency of use, and how well it is taken care of. Rotation between several collars is suggested that will prolong their lifespans. Daily use with exposure to outside weather elements (Sun, heavy rain, soil and seawater) is not recommended as the fabric might fade and/ or deteriorate and compromise the integrity of the collar. Hand or machine wash, gentle cycle, cold water (no fabric softener, non-phosphate detergent). Do not spin, twist or wring dry. Re-shape and air dry flat.

Fabric Colors and Pattern Placement Info

Reasonable efforts are made to show the colors of fabrics accurately. An exact match is not guaranteed as colors seen on a screen (monitor, phone) can vary from the actual product. Screens use RGB (red, green, blue) light, which often creates brighter, more saturated colors than physical objects. Therefore, color variations between the listing image(s) and the product received may occur. Some fabric designs work best with 2" collar widths. Substantial loss of pattern visibility is possible with 1.5" or 1" widths. A fabric's pattern 'repeat' determines how the fabric is cut to fit on a collar. The item you receive will be substantially similar to, but not an exact duplicate of how the fabric pattern is shown in the listing sample.

Photos of collars are provided as examples. Your collar will be custom made to your specifications. The collar in the listing photos is 1.5" wide and 'fully' lined with chocolate satin.

*A collar that is ‘fully’ satin lined, has both the control loop and main collar 'body' covered with satin and topped with the patterned fabric. No webbing is exposed but you will see 1/8" of the satin lining color visible on the outside edges of the collar.
*Reducer and chain loop martingale styles are also available as well as “regular” side release buckle collars. Please email/convo prior to purchase.
