Sensational hammered metal woodland scene of insect art from Ermani Bulatti. This Art Nouveau necklace is finished with remarkable detail. It is composed of layers of hand hammered copper-like metal, finished with an aged copper patina. The leaves and butterfly are three dimensional. Although it looks like a heavy piece, it is actually light, on a very fine chain that matches the patina of the focal medallion. The necklace is 19" long and the focal medallion is 1 3/4" x 4 1/2"long. It is in very nice vintage condition; may never have been worn. Simply a stunning piece of art from the 1970s.
Ermani Bulatti designed out of Amsterdam but his works were marketed globally. This particular creation is a lush organic piece in the spirit of Art Nouveau. Please take a moment to view the section on Ermani Bulatti. The scope of his work is eclectic and quite a treat.
