This "Baby Whales" quilt is Lovesewnseams signature quilt. It was designed from my love of whales and the ocean. This version adds the anchor, the true nautical symbol. The 100% Cotton quilting fabrics in Aqua, navy and white coordinate beautifully with the hand stitched and appliquéd whales and anchors. Cute sandollar and starfish accent fabrics.

Backed in soft ultra cuddly MINKY fabric in your choice of color, machine quilted and beautifully bound edges.

The quilting gives this blanket dimension, durability and adds to the quality. Most baby/crib bedding you find is not quilted. Quilting is a time consuming but important step in creating a quality

As soon as I saw this I knew that it needed to be the centerpiece of my baby's nursery. It is beautifully designed, and you can tell by the high quality of the quilt that she puts a lot of time and hard work into her products. The minky backside of the quilt and the whale patches are so soft. I'm glad I also ordered the matching pillow. This definitely exceeded my expectations. Keep in mind that it will take a little time to ship since she hand makes each one, but it is worth the wait! I would definitely order from her shop again.
