I originally made this tea-cosy for a friend, who wanted a unique gift for her friends 50th birthday - it turns out this person loved tea and cake and was actually having a garden tea party to celebrate her birthday, this tea cosy seemed the ideal present and was used on the day to great delight to all who attended.
