This listing is for the crochet pattern pdf file to create this beautiful baby blanket. The finished measurement is 34 x 34 inches. A self-patterning yarn makes the seersucker style 4-square motifs in this blanket have a very unique look. Basic stitches are used. This project is appropriate for someone familiar with basic crochet stitches and concepts.

Yarn used on the sample project is Mary Maxim's Sugar Baby Stripes in the color scheme mocha crunch. The self-striping yarn works itself into nice gradual looking color changes throughout the blanket. This pattern would work equally well with a solid yarn as the seersucker pattern would show up nicely. The yarn used is a #3 dk weight (light worsted) - so any yarn in that weight would work nicely.
