Most people need about 40DE dreads for a full install, about 20DE for a mohawk, and 20DE-30DE for an undercut. Those with thin hair need fewer, and those with thick hair need more. How many a person needs also depends upon personal preference. Those that want a fuller look need more, and those that desire less volume, need fewer. It also depends upon the size of the dreads. For thin dreads or "micro-dreads", I recommend 50DE-80DE for a full install, 30DE-40DE for a mohawk, and 40DE-60DE for an undercut. For all natural fiber and synthetic locs: For dreads I recommend hand-washing in cool water with mild detergent. To avoid color bleeding/bleaching, it is best to avoid products with alcohol, essential oils, peroxide, bleach, excessive sunlight, and excessive heat. Synthetic Locs: Synthetic hair is chemically coated by the manufacturer. This chemical coating provides heat resistance, and helps the hair remain clean and sanitary by resisting mold and other growths. However, this coating can irritate certain people's skin. To remove this coating, soak the synthetic dreads in a mixture of warm water and vinegar, allow to sit for approximately 15 minutes, rinse, and allow to dry.

LUCID (Shipping to Germany)

All orders going to Germany are shipped in Compostable Resealable/Reusable Bags. These bags are suppose to be returned for reuse. Please exercise care when opening. If damaged, packaging can be disposed of at a proper recycling facility or disposed of in your compost bin. Instructions for disposal are pre-printed on the packaging. Please comply with your country's recycling rules. Bags that are mailed back, in useable condition, to Nvcl3arBvtt3rfly, will receive a $10 refund to help offset the buyer's shipping costs.
