The biography of Rudolph Steiner, the Austrian mystic, philosopher, literary critic, architect, social reformer, and New Age front runner. At the beginning of the twentieth century, he founded an esoteric spiritual movement called anthroposophy, with roots in German idealist philosophy and theosophy. Steiner attempted to find a synthesis between science and spirituality, seeking to apply the logic of Western philosophy to spiritual questions.
