What colour is the background of your prints?

Most of our prints have a light beige background, including the borders. This background colour is printed on the paper like the rest of the image. The paper itself is, originally, white. This means the image-side (front) of the print has a light beige background, and the back of the paper is white.

How big are the borders/margins of the print?

In general, the smallest border for 5x7s is 0.25", and for 8x10s it's 0.5". The smallest border for the rest of the print sizes is 1". There is some variation. Some of our antique maps and our vintage movie posters have different borders. Please contact us before making your order if you need custom borders/margins.
