This hair stick is styled after a pirate cutlass, with the somewhat more realistic curved 'blade' (as opposed to the straight stick of my other offerings). I am told that the curvature of this stick gives it uncommonly good holding power. That is to say a better than typical ability to hold in place whatever it is that wants holding. At least that's they way I heard it. ;)

This hair sword was made from one piece of solid maple , and has a total length of approx. 7 1/2", with the working portion being 6" and is approx. 9 mm thick.

Want it customized? If you are interested in this or any of my other hair sticks but might like a different wood or length than that shown, please let me know - I am happy to custom make any hair stick any way you'd like it. I try to keep my shop stocked with the following woods, and will not charge extra for their use: Oak, Maple, Cherry, Ash, Walnut and Mahogany. In addition, I have a limited supply of the following exotic hardwoods, or may be able to get them for an added fee: purpleheart, yellowheart, bocote, mora, padauk and leopardwood. Other woods may be available upon request. Please do not hesitate to ask! Feel free to share your thoughts or wishes with me; I'll work with you to make it happen.
