We use premium full grain vegetable tanned leather to make our laptop bags, which is the leather that is tanned using non-toxic organic barks and leaves over a period of 30 to 40 days (unlike fast-made low-cost chrome tanned leathers that are harmful to health and environment). We source our leather from a reputable US based tannery that focuses on sustainable leather production. Vegetable tanned leather has natural color and earthy sweet smell, and develops a gorgeous patina with time preserving the story of its owner and making each piece truly unique. This means no two laptop bags made by us will be exactly the same!

Vegetable tanned leather, with the right feeding & care, also has the ability to heal scratches (unlike chrome tanned leathers, which, once scratched, cannot be repaired without re-tanning). This ability makes veg tanned leather products much more durable than any chemically tanned leather goods, and keeps them presentable and rich looking for years.

We use Japanese YKK zippers that are known around the world for their quality, smooth running, and excellent performance. Our bag is meant to carry a lot of valuable items, so it is crucial to have a durable zipper to keep them safe! The metal hardware is lightweight and very durable in order to be able to carry the weight of a large laptop, several books, and a water bottle. We've rigorously tested our trims to ensure that our bags carry your belongings safely.

We accept returns/exchanges of non-personalized products. Please contact us within 3 days of delivery to authorise a return. The product must be unused, in the original condition, and shipped back within 7 days of delivery. If the product is shipped after the 7-day period, it can only be returned/exchanged for shop credit. Used and/or damaged products will not be accepted. The buyer will be responsible for shipping costs if they want the damaged product back. Original shipping upgrades (Fast Track, Express; if purchased) are not refundable.

Personalized products are final sale and cannot be returned/exchanged.

Oopsie products are not eligible for returns, but can be exchanged for shop credit.

We condition all products before they leave our studio. If the product gets extensive use and/or is often in the sun/heat, please condition it with a small amount of oil-based (not wax-based!) cream once in 2-3 months. Rub it lightly with a piece of cotton fabric after applying a conditioner to remove excess moisture. For normal use, please condition the product 1-2 times a year.

Please use a water repellent spray if the product is going to be used in the rain. If the product gets water stains, do not rub them! Let the bag air dry for a day or two in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight, then apply a conditioner.

Always test care products on a small piece of leather before applying it to the whole product.

Domestic shipping usually takes 2-8 days (expedited options available at checkout). Standard International shipping can take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks. We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers and events out of our control. Shipping upgrades are not refundable in case of returns.

I was hunting for a nice bag for my girl this Christmas, and I was not disappointed. Let's just put it this way: I have never seen my girl take a full 30 minutes in the enjoying and opening of a gift, but she did this time. She relished in seeing all the pockets and compartments, mentally noting where she would put what, enjoying just seeing her initials on the leather, thinking of different ways to coordinate the various accessories. Everything about this bag was top notch, from the process of tanning, the quality and heft of the leather, all the way down to the YKK zippers. No expense in terms of quality was spared. Needless to say, my girl LOVED everything about this bag. If I need a briefcase or a bag or some sort of leather luggage, this vendor is where I'm coming first, always. No one even comes close.
