Here is an absolutely beautiful, Donwton Abbey inspired, couture, wedding Dress.
I designed this dress with my main inspiration being Downton Abbey and Mary Crawley with her perfect 1920s fashion sense. The inspiration is in the lace, sash, color, and over of feel of the gown while still maintaining a modern silhouette. This wedding gown has a beautiful lightly sequined lace bodice. The sequins add just the slightest bit of sparkle while still being very subtle. The low V neckline and low V back add a look that is both classy and sexy all while keeping with that vintage look. A beautiful hand beaded sash adds sparkle and shine. The skirt is breathtaking. It is made of Silk Crepe De Chine which is very light and airy. I've added very large pleats at the side waist to add extra flow at the hem without adding additional bulk at the waist line. The skirt train is finished off with a panel of the same beautiful lace used on the bodice to add something subtle and unique while you walk down the isle. If Mary Crawley were to get married today, this would be the wedding she would wear!

The assembly of this couture wedding dress starts with over 25 of the clients measurements. From there the pattern is drafted and the gown made to achieve a beautiful, smooth, flawless look.
