How long does it take to have an item made for me?

Unless the item is listed as "Ready to Ship" in the title OR a Rush Option is added on to shipping at checkout.... **ALL** Kobieta items are HAND DYED AND HAND MADE TO ORDER and require approx 10 *BUSINESS* days to complete and ship for all clothing items and 5 Business days for Labor & Delivery Skirts, Birth Dresses and Maternity Gowns.. PLEASE NOTE: Holidays and weekends are not BUSINESS days. When calculating the ship by date please remember to only count BUSINESS days. *** By purchasing the listing you acknowledge and accept this time frame.***

Can I cancel an order if I change my mind?

Every piece is hand cut, hand dyed and sewn to order (meaning the item is not started until the order has been placed). Any request for a cancellation must be received within the *FIRST 24 HOURS*. After that, the item will have already began processing and fabric cut to be dyed to your requested size and color. After this time has lapsed, if there is a legitimate emergency, then it will be considered case by case. Buyers remorse, failure to provide timely information needed or changed mind does not qualify. Please understand these items are being cut especially for you. In your size. In your requested color. After these times, if approved, a 20% fee must be applied to the refund for labor time and fabric used.

What if the color or fabric isn't what I thought it was?

-Quality is guaranteed but computer monitor colors are not. -The fabric thickness/feel/drape may, or may not, be similar to other organic cottons or bamboo stretch knit fabrics you have ordered elsewhere. If seeking a very particular feel and type then please request swatches. -Up to 3 swatch colors are available for TOTALLY free, simply convo Kobieta and leave colors needed and address. Or, a full set of all color swatches may be chosen free for shipping cost only here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/114329219/complete-swatch-set-of-all-colors/ **Returns are not allowed for color choice or assumptions about fabric.** Please, if there are any doubts, request 3 free swatches or purchase shipping for a complete set of swatches.

What if my item doesn't fit?

As with all shopping online, you are not able to try on clothing prior to purchase and I realize this can be tricky for sizing concerns. If an item does not fit correctly I am ALWAYS happy to work with the buyer to tailor the piece and ensure that you end up thrilled with your Kobieta clothing! -If personal measurements were submitted, Kobieta pays return shipping to re-tailor the item. Upon arrival back, measurements will be checked. If indeed it was made to submitted info,buyer is responsible for shipping back. -If measurements were not submitted (meaning only a standard size was selected), the item is free to be tailored with customer responsible for shipping. -There is never alteration charges for fit issues! Please just contact me!

What if there is a sewing mistake?

Workmanship is always 100% guaranteed. If the item arrives with a flaw or if a *workmanship* problem occurs within the first 30 days of reception, then Kobieta will pay shipping to have the item returned for any repair needed and will then pay shipping to return item to the customer. After 30 Days, the repair is still completely free, with buyer paying return shipping. Kobieta will then cover shipping back after the repair for US buyers and will cover half for international. Repairs/Adjustments needed from weight loss, rough wear, snagging an an item, spilling and staining item, or anything else outside of the actual workmanship of the item.... I am happy to do what I can to help with buyer paying shipping both to and from.

Please allow 2-3 weeks for your handmade to order item to be completed to your chosen sizing and color.
Colors are hand-dyed except Natural and Black. Natural is the undyed, unbleached state of the fabric. Black is ordered pre-dyed to achieved specific dark tones difficult to obtain hand-dyed.

Please note: The example pictures are to show design of the items. The color of fabrics in the pictures may or may not be available at this time. I change color offerings seasonally and the available colors are listed in the last picture of every custom item. If you do not see it in the swatch panel picture.... it is not available without special order. You may contact me for information on Special Order fabrics.
