“I received my gorgeous '80's Art Deco Revival Alabaster set a few days ago, sent from Portugal to Tasmania. Not only did it arrive in perfect condition, due to being perfectly packed, it also arrived a lot earlier than expected. Peter was really responsive to any contact, and clearly takes great pride in delivering his beautiful shop items in excellent condition. I absolutely love this alabaster set, had wanted it for a long time, and look forward to displaying it out on my dresser, and just admiring it. Thanks Peter.”

Gorgeous vintage SCHEURICH Wien/Vienna series vase from West Germany.
Scheurich ‘Wien’ vase, was designed by A. Seide, in the early 1970’s
A funky uncommon colourful ribbed vase of Scheurich. A Fantastic form, the ‘Wein’ series is bulb like, with its rounded bulbous base, and triple ribbed neck, reminiscent of ‘Bibendum ‘ Michelin Man’.
A Striking decor. Flamelike with a nod to Pop Art and Space Age styles and very in keeping with the ‘Fat Lava’ designs of the era.
A Colourful statement piece, sculptural in its own right, and a perfect bright retro encapsulation of the era.
Great as an addition to any collection of Fat Lava/West German pottery, and would be a superb vase to brighten up any retro, vintage, 60’s, 70’s, pop art, space age or contemporary styled interior.
The piece comes in a floral Fat Lava decor.
The bottom is marked with a form number - 269-22 and it is written W. GERMANY.
