The onion and heart beads are similar in both length and width. 4. The height mentioned on cabochons and diamond listings refer to the thickness of the stone. 5. The size mentioned in rough gemstones and rough diamonds are listed as one of the longest sides of the stone. 6. The hole size of all semi precious gemstones are usually 0.5mm and that of rough diamonds is 0.3mm unless mentioned on the listing.
