Welcome to Polar Mitts Sparkle! Specially made for anyone who needs a little glam and sparkle through our long, cold winter.

The mittens are lined with polar tech 300 weight fleece, with elastic sewn in the lining at the wrist for a comfortable, no-falling-off fit!

Machine washable-please line dry.

Measurements below are approximate. If you're not sure of your size, go up a size as mittens don't need to be a tight fit. Size approximates the length finger tip to wrist.

Our story:
In 1997, Melody Anderson began making warm mittens with her two daughters as a sewing project. Her friend, Judy Berg, saw these mittens and said, "Make more of these, the teachers at my school will love them!"... and Polar Mitts was born.

This cottage industry has expanded to include not only mittens, but scarves, hats and headbands for the entire family. Many fabrics are exclusively made for Polar Mitts. All designing and sewing is done by Melody, husband John, and daughter-in-law Jen in the Anderson's home in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

These gold mittens are everything! Super sparkly. Picture a golden disco ball. I found sizes to be a little inconsistent between colors/fabrics. I am a woman with very petite hands. The small mittens in gold fit me perfectly. My fingertips come just about to the end of the mitten. But the small in the merlot fur runs bigger- see photo- merlot mittens were at least half an inch longer and wider than the gold ones so they feel a little too big for me personally. I'll probably need to use a glove liner underneath to get a better fit. But they are still gorgeous and still excellent quality.
