Highlights
This style was worn by men in Biblical, Roman and Greek times. The key trim is also period (though ours is made on a machine!). One size fits all, it's pretty big, fits up to chest size 55".
This garment is made from a cotton twill fabric. It has wide sleeves. It is shaped like a cross, and was appropriated as a distinctive garment by the enthusiastic and faithful followers of Christ, who wore angustus clavus (stripes) of deep red or purple. The Dalmatica is a closed garment with wide, 3/4 length sleeves and a slit neck. The length is below the knee.
The in stock Dalmaticas are red or white with black key trim. Other colors and trims can be custom-made.
This outfit has trim and is shown as pictured. Perfect for toga parties, Greek or Roman reenactment, Halloween, Biblical plays, vacation bible camp, I also have togas.
