Here is a classic battle, The Amazing Spiderman, taking on his mortal enemy Doctor Otto Octavius, or Doc Ock. A highly intelligent mad scientist, Doc Ock is one of Spidermans greatest foes. Using his 4 mechanical arms that are fused to his body, he is constantly trying to prove his own genius, bent on destroying the Spiderman. These two just can't seem to get a long. The image was cut directly from an issue of the Amazing Spiderman comic series.

Materials Used:
- Black spray paint
- Ceramic tile
- Images cut from comic book
- Mod podge brand decoupage
- Acrylic clear coat
- Felt pads

The image used is cut directly from comic books. The images are applied to the ceramic tile after the tile is painted black. The image is applied with Mod Podge. Then several coats of Mod Podge are applied and cleared with an acrylic clear coat to seal it completely. Felt pads are applied to the bottom to make sure of a good contact surface.

I use a process that I feel to be very effective when making these coasters. I use steps to get the best possible results.
