I based the shape of this on the minimalist, 'domino' or hero style masks that I did recently, and I wanted to try out some new metallic paint I acquired. It's a high quality paint designed so that it can be applied using an airbrush, which allowed me to control how I applied the paint, laying down a thing coat which gives this beautiful silver-grey finish, lending the mask a heavy, sculptural look, and really making the shapes pop as the light plays over them. I feel like this could work equally well as part of a futuristic costume as it could for something more traditional.


I will attach black elastic through the holes on either side of the mask.


The inner corners of the eye-holes are about 27mm apart, their outer corners approximately 115mm, and each eye hole 46mm wide by 21mm high.


All my masks are hand made from real leather, crafted in our workshop in Auckland, New Zealand. Each mask is made individually so no two are ever exactly the same!


Please note that it is hard to accurately capture the colour in the image (as well as screen variation), so the actual colour of the mask may not be exactly the same as pictured.
