DESCRIPTION:

These six tiny felt farm animals are a perfect handmade toy for a farm loving little friend, or make excellent farm themed nursery decor. Consider adding them to a mobile kit to make a farm mobile.

No sewing machine is required and you do not have to enlarge or shrink the patterns. Even if you've never sewn or embroidered before, the detailed instructions included with these patterns will have you stitching like a pro in no time!

PLEASE NOTE: This pattern is rated as intermediate difficulty because it requires greater time and patience than most other patterns in this shop. Tiny animals are actually harder to make than larger ones, however the stitches and techniques used are all the same as the easier-rated patterns. If you have little or no experience sewing and are nervous to try this project, perhaps you could try another pattern first. However if you are an adventurous crafter with patience and attention to detail, you should have no trouble completing this project, even if you don't have experience with hand embroidery.

APPROX FINISHED SIZE:

The tiny farm animals are each about 3 inches (8 cm) tall.

TIME TO MAKE:

It takes approximately one-and-a-half hours for each animal for a total of 9 hours.

GENERALLY REQUIRED MATERIALS*:

• Craft felt (or wool felt, if desired)
• Embroidery floss
• Embroidery needle
• Scissors
• Straight pins OR glue stick OR tape
• Printer & copy paper
• Stuffing (fiberfill)
• Stuffing stick (or chop stick, knitting needle, etc.
