How do I care for my Pixie River quilt?

Quilts and Pixie Pairs may be machine washed in warm water (no bleach, of course and no liquid fabric softener) on gentle cycle and machine dried at low heat. Avoiding the use of liquid fabric softeners will keep your minky plush and luxurious. If ironing is desired, be sure not to touch the iron to the minky side.

How long does a made to order quilt take?

All orders will be completed in the order that they are received and construction time on made to order quilts, pixie pairs and dance totes is generally between 2 and 4 weeks. I keep the estimated lead times updated within each individual listing so you'll always know what to expect.

This embroidered baby quilt is made to order and will have you both singing "Old McDonald Had A Farm" together! All of Farmer McDonald's farm animals are here on a field of specially chosen fabrics in country brights - barnyard prints and farmer's bandanna - complete with Mrs. McDonald's flower garden and even a little Midwestern corn! It measures approximately 27" X 31" and is not only great for the crib, but it's the perfect size to pack in a diaper bag or wrap around baby in a stroller. The quilt top is created with machine embroidered squares of supple lightweight poly-cotton twill for durability and easy care and a variety of 100% cotton quilting fabrics over high quality low loft needled polyester batting. Each square is discreetly corner-tacked for stability and the quilt is backed with lime green minky dimple dot for softness. All fabrics have been pre-washed prior to embroidery and construction. Care instructions are simple - just machine wash cool on gentle cycle (no liquid fabric softener), tumble dry low and if pressing is desired, do not touch iron to minky backing. This quilt is so incredibly cute! It was packaged so beautifully and folded with tissue and a sweet personalized card from Barb! Barb, you were so wonderful to work with and I am so happy that you were able to customize this beautiful piece for my sister, a soon to be 1st time grandma. In addition, to changing a word or two and adding in the little goats so that it represents all the animals on her farm, I got another surprise! ! When I opened up the package, you even incorporated little bunnies! I am so excited to give her this gift that I just moved up the grandma to be shower date to Wednesday!
