ebay has warnings about silver marked 925 from overseas. many items are plated and stamped sterling 925 only to find the plate wears off weeks later after you left positive feedback with some containing cadmium. Most of the cadmium produced today is obtained from zinc byproducts and recovered from spent nickel-cadmium batteries. Jewelry from overseas has been using cadmium (old batteries) to sell goods to the USA and also find a way to dump toxic waste material on the open market.

Wow! Even better than expected! The pictures don't quite do it justice. Delightfully weighty, there's a lot of silver in this piece! I will smile every time I put it on (which will be pretty much every day)!
