Pattern for Cowl Knit in Round

Knitting pattern for a seed stitch rib knit cowl. This cowl is knit in the round on circular knitting needles. The pattern looks the same on both sides so it is reversible.

This knit cowl pattern is fun and easy to knit. The pattern is a 2 row repeat. You will need to know how to knit and purl to make this ribbed cowl. You will also need to know how to knit in the the round with circular knitting needles. The needle size is a US 10 so the cowl can be made in just a few days or less.

Yarn used in my project is a basic acrylic yarn #4 weight. You will need approximately 355 yards of yarn.

The finished cowl measures approx. 34 in. around and 12 3/4 inches wide. This is a very stretchy accessory and can be worn a variety of ways - it makes a nice cape to keep the shoulders and the back warm on chilly days.
