The Magnificat! Mary's song of praise to our eternal God. This whimsical presentation of the Magnificat contains the full text of Luke 1:46-55 on the wings of a contemporary butterfly set against a bold black and orange background. In the Magnificat, Mary proclaims how God "exalts the lowly" - he has come to flip many of our existing notions upside-down. This piece, with it's sky-like butterfly wings, hopes to symbolically remind us of this reversal. (Image #5 is my other Magnificat artwork...see that listing for details)

The 12x18 watercolor & art marker original was commissioned by a "Teams of Our Lady" group member - personalized prints will be gifts for other members of her group. To personalize your print, just select the "personalized" option for the size you'd like and include the details in the "message to seller." These would make awesome Confirmation or totally unique First Communion gifts!

This print is available in a variety of sizes: 5x7, 8x10, 11x14, and 12x18. All are professionally run on 100 lb, acid free paper using environmentally sensitive inks. They are labeled, signed and dated by the artist (me) in pencil on the back.

After careful packaging in a protective plastic sleeve with a rigid backing board, they are mailed via USPS in a document/photo envelope. The 12x18 size is shipped carefully rolled in a sturdy mailing tube.
