This dress makes me want to get married again. I think perhaps the women that do get hitched over and over again, really just have a soul craving for dressing up. I wish everyday was one big festival costume party. I guess for a lucky few it is. O.K. enough rambling. This dress is a collage of laces. It has some vintage and antique cotton and linen handmade laces in it. The corset style bodice is made from a vintage table linen that has shades of red and green needlepoint. The lace on the hem and train is handmade antique lace. Nina has painted floral medallions on the dress to match the needlepoint. This has a very organic quality to it, while still being very couture. It is lined in cotton and has boning in the bodice for a true corset fit. The lace up back is made from silk and has beads dropping from it. In my opinion, this dress can be worn any time of year. I can see it for a Summer in the meadow ceremony or a Winter candlelight event. We have a veil with green leaves listed that would look great with it. This gown will fit a size 2 or 4, but can be adjusted to a 6. Send me your measurements and we'll go from there.

Since you can't try this on (unless you are in the Atlanta, Ga. area), it would be best to send us your measurements before you buy it. That way we can make sure it will be a close enough fit for you to have it altered where you are. Most wedding gowns still need some alterations done in person, even when you order a gown per your measurements. We need bust, waist, hip. Bra size and height are helpful also.
