Are your soaps vegan?

Yes, all of our soaps are vegan. We do not use any animal products at all.

Do you use plastic packaging?

We use a very thin shrink wrap film that covers the top and bottom of the soap from contaminates. We continue to use this band as we sell to hundreds of stores and when people pick up and sniff the soap and touch the soap we feel it is important to keep the soap protected from germs, dirt, hair and dust that can accumulate in a shop setting. We also feel with the Covid era it is important that the soap has not been touched or held up to someone's nose. The sides are open where the paper label wraps around. The plastic band is recyclable and may be disposed of at your local grocery store where they recycle plastic bags.

Is your soap palm oil free?

We've been in this business for 29 yrs now and what we have learned is it is best to use sustainable palm oil. When there is a social movement against one product it then creates a run on other substitute products which can cause even more harm. When humans wipe out one source and convert to another source we are clearly destroying even more. We use Fair trade coconut oil and RSPO verified sustainable palm oil. We use several balanced recipes that work to use lower amounts of oils. We work every day to make our packaging, shipping and recipes eco friendly and sustainable. All of our packaging is either biodegradable or recyclable.

This was my original review "Soap stack not as pictured. Two bars were less than 1/4" thick. Bars varied in thickest with none being more than 1/2". Not as expected for price." However, after communicating with the owner, who explained in detail the sizing and weight process, I was completely satisfied. Customer service is so important and truly counts.

I have only used a few of the bars so far and I like them. The bars do not look like the picture. They are all uneven cuts (which I don't mind) but it would have been nice to get the product that was pictured. It would make a nice gift.
