This Jolly Santa is made using size 11 delica seed beads and will produce a 3"x3" star ornament. (medium size) He is created using the Peyote stitch for the base and the Ladder stitch for the hanger. This fellow shows up everywhere in the homes of family and friends, so there is no reason for you to be left out of all the fun.

The pattern is geared toward the intermediate to advanced beader, but a patient, highly-motivated beginner with a working knowledge of Peyote stitch can also find success with this happy little guy. If you are a little hesitant, take a look at my basic star patterns as a beginning place for building your 3-D star making skills. This is a word pattern, not a graph or grid.
