Very substantial, well made, and with great, natural-looking finish (we chose the matte black so it would be well sealed, but we like a natural look and it has it). We knew that a single screw hole would mean it could be tugged and would turn/move, which it can and does - but not easily and not far. It works as needed and as expected. Great for what we bought it for - hanging hats on a wall. Each hook is plenty big to hold two hats. Very happy with our purchase!
