This is a PATTERN ONLY for a crochet newborn hat made with super fine (category 1) yarn and size E/4 (3.50 mm) hook.

Note that this pattern is available only in one size: newborn. You can use a slightly heavier yarn and a bigger size hook to achieve a larger size baby hat.

The finished hat measures about 13 inches in circumference and 4.5 inches in height.

The skill level is beginner and only basic crochet stitches are used - single crochet, double crochet, slip stitch, and chains. The finished hat has a very soft and delicate texture.

This pattern looks cute in two colors or in a single color.

The pattern is written using US crochet terminology. This is a very detailed pattern, and includes the stitch count for each round.
