If your kids or students are studying westward expansion, or enjoy imagining what the pioneer lifestyle might have been like, this is an excellent craft project for them.

Here's how it works: You purchase 2 PDF files containing the instructions and template to make a covered wagon. Print them from your own printer and start assembling!

Additional Information:
You will receive the covered wagon downloads as soon as your payment clears, which is usually in under a minute. Please note that you must have Adobe Reader or a similar PDF reader to view the files.

The templates print in grayscale (though the instructions can be printed in color). I recommend using cardstock for the wagon and wheels pages, and printer paper for the cover. Cardstock is a sturdier paper often used for scrapbooking. You can pick it up at craft stores and office supply stores.

The completed covered wagon is about 6 inches (15 cm) long (with an additional 4 inches (10 cm) added by the tongue) and 5.5 inches (14 cm) high.
