This is a PATTERN ONLY for a beginner level crochet baby blanket made with super fine yarn (category 1, lace, fingering) and size E/4 (3.5 mm) hook. Finished size is approximately 37 by 32 inches.

This blanket is very easy to make and involves only basic stitches. It has a simple yet beautiful trim with picots.

I used super-fine acrylic yarn, and this blanket came out very soft and light. It's perfect for newborns born in summer. It can also be used as a stroller cover. The pattern will work with light worsted yarns as well. And this blanket will look lovely in other colors also.

The pattern is written using US crochet terminology.
