You will receive a PDF preview (via etsy conversation) no later than 1 business day after submitting your payment and information. This particular tattoo design is approximately 2" x 2" but actual size will depend on your photo and text. It's been printed on non-toxic paper and safe for anyone to wear. However, these aren't recommended for people with skin sensitivities or allergies. They can last several days depending on placement and care. ◄◄◄◄ ◄◄◄ PHOTO REQUIREMENTS ►►► ►►►
These tattoos are made using the actual photo you submit; it's not a drawing and will therefore look just like the photo. Just like real life, I can't make you thinner, taller, etc :) So please choose a photo that you like. I can use any single photo you have, HOWEVER... high quality photos make the best tattoos. Without getting too technical, you can tell if a photo will work well by these five things:

◘It's the original file
◘The couple is close to camera
◘The photo is well-lit
◘The faces are in focus
◘composition

◘◘◘ Original File ◘◘◘
These days almost any camera (include phones) takes high resolution photos so as long as you have the original file it's going to be a high resolution image. The problem people often run into is using images that have been uploaded to the web (so sites like Facebook, Instagram, etc) instead of the original image. Most websites majorly compress uploads so even if you start with a high resolution photo once you upload it (or take a screen shot of it), the image will be much lower quality than the original file.

◘◘◘Closeness to Camera ◘◘◘
You'll also want to select a photo where the couple is relatively close to the camera so their faces make up a majority of the frame. The farther away from the camera the couple is the smaller (and therefore lower resolution) their faces will be to make their faces the size of the tattoo. (This typically isn't a common issue with high resolution photos since they start out very large but there's still situations, like a couple on a mountain top, where faces will too small to make them the size of the tattoo without losing clarity. Ask me if you have any questions)

◘◘◘Well Lit ◘◘◘
You'll also want to select a photo with nice lighting. Dark environments don't usually result in crisp, high quality photos since there's lots of shadows and loss of information.

◘◘◘In focus (not blurry)◘◘◘
You'll also want to select a photo where the subjects are in focus.

◘◘◘Composition◘◘◘
This last tip is fairly subjective so if you like your photo great; please use it! But here's few final recommendations on compositions that work best in my opinion:

◄ choose a photo that shows the entire head of each person.
◄ choose a photo where the couple is physically close together. Ideal is cheek to check.
◄ choose a photo that resembles the couple. Hats, face paint and other props are fun but can disguise faces.
