Most of our items are stained or oiled unless otherwise specified. It is a durable finish that doesn't compromise the natural beauty of the wood grain.

Staining/oiling also adds a greater level of protectiona and colour control, however, as the stain/oil is still applied to a natural surface, there will be some natural variation between pieces which only make them more unique and special.

The majority of our items are made from solid woods which may expand and shrink with differences in temperature and humidity.

Take care not to place your wooden items next to radiators, direct sunlight or anywhere subject to excessive changes in temperature or moisture content. Any direct contact with liquids should be wiped away immediately before it had an opportunity to soak into the wood.

To clean, simply wipe with a soft barely damp cloth.
