WHAT IS A GICLEE PRINT?
Giclée (zee-clay), which in French means, "to spray on" is a gallery fine art print. Because no screens are used in production (unlike commercial printing), the prints have a higher resolution than lithographs. In producing a Giclée, a fine stream of ink, more than four million droplets per second, is sprayed onto the art paper. The effect is similar to an airbrush technique, although much finer.
Every Giclée print offered by GothamPark Studios is printed with the finest archival fade resistant inks on either 44# or 80# cover Epson Premium paper.

Paper size is 13 x 19 inches. Actual image size of each print is approximately 7 1/2 x 16 1/2 inches. These are FINE ART GICLEE PRINTS printed on archival quality paper with the finest archival fade resistant inks.
CUSTOM FRAMED AND MATTED GICLEE PRINT >>
The highest quality material is essential for our framed prints. Print will be framed in a 1 1/4 inch wood gallery frame with black satin finish surrounded by a 2 1/4 inch 100% acid free antique white matte. Frame size is 15 x 25 inches. For shipping and safety purposes we use 0.040 clear styrene glazing for outstanding optical clarity and lightweight impact resistance. Hardware for hanging is included. Frame is made in the U.S.A.
