For multiple purchases it can be difficult to calculate the additional shipping charges accurately in advance of an order for extra items, as it is impossible to know what the additional item might be and what it weighs. If I find that the actual postage and packing costs are significantly less than you have paid, I will always make a refund. Vintage Linens and Accessories

I sell mostly vintage or antique textiles and accessories, which by their very nature are not in pristine new condition. These lovely pieces have age and history, which is part of their appeal and charm; with that comes inevitable wear and tear. Even unused 'new/old stock' may have marks from years in storage. I will always describe any significant marks, damage or imperfection, so please read the description carefully before buying. Please also note that slubs in linen are not faults, but an inherent part of the weave, to be expected with the irregular nature of the flax fibre. If you are looking for something absolutely perfect, then perhaps antique or vintage items are not for you. Please give this consideration before buying.

Seller's description

Gorgeous narrow English nylon lace edging in a soft ivory colour with pink eyelet ribbon detail, just perfect for vintage sewing projects. Originally intended as lingerie lace, it would be suitable for all sorts of uses, wedding garters or heirloom sewing projects perhaps.

It is a really pretty design, there is no actual pink ribbon but the design gives that effect. Gently scalloped along one edge, this will make a lovely trimming.

This dainty lace measures 0.75 inches wide, that's just under 2 cms. The price is for the whole card which has 36 yards. The lace was only unwrapped to take the photos.

This has come from a long closed haberdashery store. Never used, this pretty lace trim is still wound on the original card with its protective wrapping and labels stating Richex Laces Made in England.
