When illuminated, Botanical Lampshades come alive with form and color, bringing a touch of the outdoors in to your home year round.

Botanical Lampshades are hand cut in two layers, with pressed leaves and flowers in between, so these shades are protected and easily cleaned for decades of use. Your shade will not be exactly like this one but very similar. This shade can be made with a washer top, bridge, or clip top, depending on your lamp. You can choose a white or tan material. Other sizes available by custom order, please message me with the size you need.

All plant material is grown or gathered with near my home in New Hampshire. Leaves and flowers are hand selected, sorted, trimmed, pressed and dried with no dyes, preservatives or chemicals. These leaves from sacred Celtic woods were carefully, respectfully and thankfully gathered from local healthy living trees.

Of all the trees that grow so fair,
Old England to adorn,
Greater is none beneath the sun,
Than Oak and Ash and Thorn.

Hawthorn wood is associated with health, protection, luck and fertility.

Ash wood has been used for divination, prophecy, and inspiration, as well as protection and healing.

Oak has a strong association with fertility, protection, regeneration and strength.

In Ireland and Britain where all three trees grow together it is said that one may see the fairies, as folklore maintained that this trio was a portal leading into the realm of the fairies.

Druids believe that oak contains masculine energy, hawthorn possesses feminine energy, and ash balances the two, allowing their opposite energies to be directed and tapped more readily.
