I have recently been making lights and things from logs, but i had never made anything from the actual bark before, so here it is!...

yes, this is a real single piece of actual tree bark!! but it is so much more... it has been carefully made into a very unusual and rustic looking wall light!

if you are looking for that rustic and natural style then i think this could work perfectly,
it is fully intended to be a very practical light- not just to look fabulous.

i have installed 2 brand new lamp holders - 1 up and 1 down, this allows the light to really spread over a wall and light it up beautifully,
the lamp holders use G9 capsule bulbs, i would only recommend the use of the brilliant LED versions as i have used in the photos, these work directly from any mains power supply (so in any country), they stay very cool, last for a very long time, and are extremely energy efficient, i can supply the bulbs if needed but please ask otherwise the light will be sent without!!

the light has a support made from solid wood, and this has a simple 'saw tooth' bracket so the whole light can very simply be hung on a wall or post etc...

the overall size of this light is approximately 230mm high x 150mm wide
(being natural- each one will be slightly different, if you need an exact size please ask)

This a quality item. It is very small but the buyer is already aware of this if you read the dimensions clearly listed on the website. Beautiful craftsmanship and definitely one of a kind. I gave four stars instead of five because the light is MUCH less brighter than expected.
