Gold plated jewelry need extra care:: All my plated jewelry are plated with Micron Gold plating which is thicker then the average gold plating and lasts longer. I highly recommend not to wear your jewelry while taking bath because most of the shampoo has hash chemicals which are not good for the Gold Plating. Soap is not bad for the jewelry at all though. Also try not to wear your jewelry when swimming, gardening, house cleaning, working out, applying sun lotions or spraying perfumes directly on jewelry.
