Medusa jewelry, a Medusa head brooch, black print on white plastic with glossy highlights to make the snakes more three dimensional.

My own Medusa illustration, cut into lino, printed onto shrinking plastic, then shrunk. I've used a mixture of graphite black ink and a dimensional glaze creating a textural effect that brings the serpents to life.

The brooch you buy will be almost identical to the one pictured - the same lino cut will be used to produce each Medusa print and the same coloured ink to print it. Due to subtle differences in the way each print is inked, each Medusa badge is unique.

The Medusa face is glued securely to a bar pin brooch back.

The lady herself measures 4.5cm (1.5") wide by 4cm (1.25") tall, and is blank (ie, white) on the reverse. The brooch is very light - the plastic, although quite rigid, is no more than 2mm thick.

Unproven against krakens, but will at least make them wary.
