This necklace features a sterling silver oval prayer box with a genuine oval gemstone on a simple sterling silver rolo chain. Choose from garnet (January), amethyst (February), peridot (August), or blue topaz (December). The pendant opens similar to a locket, but is deeper inside, to hold your most treasured possessions.

Crash+Duchess was born after coming home from an impromptu visit to my first bead shop back in 2008. I found myself with a pile of beautiful stones, but no knowledge of what to do with them - buying beads for their inherent beauty seemed like a perfectly reasonable thing to me. After staring at them for months, I decided to try to cobble something together, hoping it wouldn't fall apart while wearing it. As luck would have it, that first necklace was a success and I was hooked (luckily so were my corporate co-workers who loved in-house shopping!).
