In 2021 I had an idea for a more durable quilt, while still including Beverly’s wonderful eye for color and her obvious patchwork expertise. We talked about feasibility and finally came to a plan. Then I got sick and the quilt plan got sidelined Finally feeling better in 2022 I contacted Beverly to revive our old plan. She sent me samples so that I could select the backing material while she got heavy duty needles and thread. It was a challenging project and not without a little frustration. (Sorry Beverly). After battling and having to reconfigure the machine and relocate her workplace she was able to overcome the obstacles and create a beautiful heirloom piece that was exactly as we planned. The quilt Beverly made for us was truly perfect...it is very well made, seems like it will last forever. Since our walls are sage, I asked Beverly to take that into consideration when creating the color scheme...she did just that and we are so happy with the result. Yay!
