This lovingly detailed canine skull mask is cast in high quality resin and works equally well as a face mask, headdress, or even a pauldron (shoulder armor)! It was sculpted to resemble the upper jaw of a realistic wolf, dog, or coyote skull right down to the detail of every individual tooth. The mask comes with the eye and nose holes cut out.
This mask is one-size-fits-most but may not work well if you have wider-than-average features. It fits a 23" cranium with no problem. Please see the photo with the ruler for the best idea of the sizing.

KIT OPTIONS
You can optionally choose to add a strap kit, blackout mesh, or both to your order. Please note these optional items will come as separate pieces, and will not be attached to your mask blank.
- Strap Kit: This is a pre-made, adjustable strap kit made from polypropylene strapping and plastic triglide sliders. It also comes with an instruction guide. It is the same strap kit that I have available separately here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/236565095
- Blackout mesh: A 3" x 6" sheet of black mesh fabric, which also includes a cutout guide for the eye and nose holes on this mask (it can be cut easily with scissors) and an instruction guide. Covering the eye and nose holes with this mesh gives your mask an eerie, empty look. The mesh looks completely black from the outside, but you can see through it from inside the mask. It is the same mesh I have available separately here, if you'd like to see more details about how it works: https://www.etsy.com/listing/267597727
You can also choose from these options for the cast piece:
- Raw cast vs cleaned-up: A raw cast is straight out of the mold with minimal cleanup. There will be some flashing and the edges may be sharp. A raw cast will require you to do some sanding and cleanup before use. You can also choose the cleaned-up option, where we take care of removing all of the flashing and sanding the edges clean and smooth.

NEW MASK VERSION
Important! This is a new mask version as of 9/23/2018. I'm transitioning to a new style of mold and new material for casting my resin masks, which means any of them that have this "new version" notification will be slightly different from my other masks. The material is still impact resistant, but is also more heat resistant than the previous material I've been using. The new version masks are thicker in places, especially around the edges. This also means they are slightly heavier, but not much! For example, the old version wolf skull mask weighs about 5oz, and the new version weighs 7.4oz. It can still be worn with our standard strap kit and remains lightweight and comfortable!

All of my resin masks start out as an original sculpture created in oil-based clay. I make a mold of the original using silicone rubber, and then cast it in impact-resistant resin. While I don't recommend treating your mask roughly, this stuff is very tough and is more likely to bounce than break if dropped!
These mask blanks come just as you see them in the photos - a blank piece cast in resin. This is a do-it-yourself piece, meaning it's up to you to finish, paint, and assemble it however you'd like. You'll need to provide an elastic strap or other means to hold the mask on, and some felt or foam padding so you can wear it comfortably. The mask comes with a guide providing helpful hints and tips on how to set up your mask to be worn and how to paint it. I'm also available to answer questions, so please don't hesitate to send me a message.
IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE: While my masks are made from impact-resistant materials to keep them from breaking, they are NOT rated to protect the wearer during sports, motorcycle riding, or other dangerous activities. They will not take the place of an appropriate helmet. Stay safe out there!
