An expansion of the popular Afternoon Blouse, this new version includes additional sizes in the upper range as well as a comfortable and stylish Shift Dress with your choice of a back box pleat or light gathering for additional shape as well as the all-important side seam pockets.

For the beginner, the flowing design will help to build sewing confidence with its choice of two decorative necklines and 1940s-inspired kimono sleeves. For the advanced sewer, this gorgeous pattern can be made in one afternoon using silk or rayon – a luxurious, quick and satisfying make.

While the Afternoon Blouse has been designed to be tucked into high-waisted skirts and pants for a vintage look, it also works perfectly worn loose with jeans and sandals for a modern look. The Shift Dress has been designed with pockets for hiding all of your treasures and can be worn as is or with a belt for extra shape.

This pattern was easy and simple to follow. Im a newbie to sewing and even I could follow it. I made 1 swift dress and liked it so much that I made another one. I will say I made a few alterations cause I'm small in a few places such as my arm length and my height. I had to move the pockets up some and shorten the length of the dress, I also made the arms a little longer for me cause I don't like to show my bat wings off. lol Its a beautiful pattern thanks so much.
