What are the commission artwork policies?

50% down to start the commission. Commissions are nonrefundable. The piece does not ship until paid in full. The buyer is responsible for shipping costs.

Shipping cost questions.

Shipping has gone up considerably of late. We try to keep it down the best we can. But we still want it to arrive safe. UPS generally ships large artwork for us. If you have any questions about sending artwork, please contact us.

Turquoise inlay work. Rough size 8.25" X 6.25" X 1.5". Beautiful dark red brown colors from the Black Cherry creates this unique bowl. A oil was applied to harden and strengthen. Then a gloss finish for a protective finish. Unique heart shaped bowl.

It has a natural dark wood brown red coloration. Because of the Black Cherry it has interesting grain and figuration characteristics. This is a signature piece.

Southwest turquoise was used for the inlay detail. A protective coating was applied to keep it’s brilliant blue green hues that is natural for this opaque mineral.

This is a decorative piece that can be a accent to a mantle or end table. It would also make an excellent wood sculpture gift for someone special who likes unique pieces of art for home decor. Or maybe a great addition to your art collection.

I used a water-based poly finish to protect the bowl. This type of finish is very durable and cleans easily.

To clean use a damp cloth or soft sponge and towel dry. Do not put this bowl in a dishwasher or submerge in a sink of water.

Nature provided the beauty. I only brought it out with a humble heart and a skillful hand.

Return policy is it must be returned within 5 days of delivery date in it’s original condition. Refund will be made through the credit card used.

I use only sustainable wood for the burl bowls and sculpture. This means it comes from managed forests generally here in Northern Wisconsin. I harvest it from trees that are either dead or down. I am a big believer in being eco-friendly and proud to live that life style. I like to find and harvest the burl myself giving me the visibility into the conditions under which the materials are being created. Also it helps me appreciate what was created for us and not take it for granted.
