This crocheted American Flag Afghan is for anyone who's proud to be an American. It can be used as a functional afghan or it can be used as a decoration.
You can get your choice of the shades of red, white and blue.

THIS LISTING IS MADE TO ORDER. YOUR AFGHAN WILL BE MADE WHEN YOU ORDER. PLEASE ALLOW AT LEAST 2-3 WEEKS FOR THIS TO BE MADE.
If ordering more than one processing time is 2-3 weeks per afghan.

For the Red:
Cherry Red
Burgundy

White
Soft White- which is an off white
Aran- which is a darker cream colored white.

Blue:
Royal Blue
Soft Navy

To start this afghan I used the white yarn and crocheted 46 individual stars. There are 6 points on each star. I then joined the blue and crocheted around each star to make 46 whole motifs. I also made 6 half motifs with the blue and then hand sewn the motifs together forming the field of stars. I also added a boarder around the field of stars.

I then crocheted the red & white stripes.
There are 7 sections of red, and 6 sections of white stripes for a total of 78 rows.
I also added a single row of edging around the stripes using the corresponding yarn color. To finish the afghan I whip stitched the blue field of stars to the stripes.

Afghan measures approximately 40 inches high, 75 inches long

Machine Wash Warm, Gentle Cycle, Tumble Dry Low, Do Not Iron.
