A-G-18 Celesta is a demi-season ( i.e. for between two seasons) dress knitting pattern for most popular 18 inch dolls with chest measurements 10.5-11.6".
It will fit perfectly other dolls with the same body surements dolls and other 18 inch dolls with similar body measurements like gotz and maru and friends.

A straight middle length dress, with set in long sleeves and a bit of a plunging neckline (as a hint of a delicate femininity), bold, self confident, simple and stately.
Neckline trim includes both a simple crochet and knitted versions.

Skill level: for an intermediate knitter
Working gauge: 9 sts x 9 rs =1" (2.5cm) over trinity (berry) stitch
7 sts x 14 rs (7 garter st ridges) =1" (2.,5cm) over garter stitch.

I used 2.0mm (US#1) needles, but you might need to up the size as I am a " loose" knitter.

The sample was knitted from Baby Merino by Ice yarns, 40% merino wool/ 20% cashmere like polyamide/ 40%acrylic, 50gr/1.75oz, 200m/220yds, one ball of yarn.
Best substitute yarn: Cotton Fair by Premier Yarns, 52% cotton/48% acrylic, 100 gr/3.5oz, 290m/317yds.
Or any Fine 2, Baby weight yarn that will knit to gauge.
